Zilch gives customers access to regulated credit and perks through a Visa digital or physical card. We're authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and unlike traditional credit providers we do not charge customers interest or late fees.

Merchant revenue removes or reduces the fees customers would otherwise pay when shopping with a specific brand, which creates more value for the customer. Customers naturally shop more with brands that are fee-free, so the more a brand works with Zilch, the more attractive it becomes to our customers. It's a model where the customer, the brand and Zilch are all pulling in the same direction: better value drives more shopping, and more shopping funds better value.

Customers browse and search the Zilch app before they've decided where to shop, which means we're connecting you with customers before they've filled their baskets, not competing for them at checkout. Placement in the app is driven by our algorithm, which gives greater exposure to merchants offering the best customer value (no fees). Brands can build on this with sponsored placements, featured offers and data-led campaign activity.

Beyond the core performance channel, brands grow on Zilch through our Intelligent Commerce platform: sponsored placements, featured offers, personalised deals and data-led campaigns that put your brand in front of the right customer at the right moment. Our in-house creative team also produces high-performing campaign content, having delivered standout results with major UK retailers. The brands that invest most see a compounding return, as better customer value drives greater app exposure, more sales and higher average order values.

Intelligent Commerce is Zilch's next-generation partnership model, combining first-party tracking with data-led marketing. Traditional affiliate tracking relies on cookies, which are increasingly blocked by browsers, lost on cross-device journeys, and often invisible for in-app purchases, meaning brands miss attribution on others. Intelligent Commerce replaces this with Zilch's own transaction-level tracking: because every purchase happens through the Zilch card, we capture every sale accurately, online and in-store, with no reliance on cookies at all.

That accuracy unlocks more. Full visibility of true sales performance and richer campaign measurement built on real purchase data. Brands also benefit with exclusive fee free products such as Pay over 3 months creating a competitive edge. They also receive rich data insights, data led campaigns targeting the right customer audiences and earn advertising credits. This combination creates the highest ROAS.

Zilch is built on first-party spend data. Working with us, brands get visibility of campaign performance, conversion, average order values and customer engagement, along with category audience insights drawn from real purchase behaviour rather than modelled data. This helps you understand who your Zilch customers are, what they buy, and where the growth opportunities sit within your category.

Yes. Zilch is omnichannel: customers shop online through standard eCommerce checkouts and in-store using contactless or chip and PIN, wherever Visa is accepted. For retailers with physical stores, this means Zilch customers can buy from you immediately, with no new terminals or POS changes. Brands working with Omnichannel and providing in-store and online value (no fees) see the greatest results.

Three ways. First, flexibility: customers choose how to pay, which removes hesitation on larger baskets. Second, value: we reinvest merchant revenue into reducing or removing customer fees and funding rewards at your store, which removes friction at checkout. Third, intent: customers arrive through the Zilch app with buying power as we give them access to credit. Together, these drive the conversion rates and AOV uplifts our partners see.

Zilch issues every customer who is eligible a Zilch card – it is a digital card with the option to order a physical version. All Zilch cards run on the Visa network and are accepted wherever Visa is accepted. There's no integration work for merchants, no new terminals, no checkout changes: if you accept Visa, you already accept Zilch. That means access to millions of Zilch customers from day one, with zero technical lift.

Visa Flexible Credential is a new technology being rolled out by Visa worldwide that allows customers to be provided with a single card credential, but for the transaction to correctly settle based on the relevant funding option. Zilch gives customers choice in how they pay, whether that's paying in full or spreading the cost, with one of our subsidised merchants or via a regular credit transaction – all through one card. For merchants, nothing changes: every transaction is authorised, cleared and settled as a standard Visa transaction, and you receive the full transaction value in line with your usual settlement timelines. Customers get flexibility, merchants get a standard Visa payment. That flexibility is what drives conversion, particularly on larger baskets.

Our vision is to subsidise the cost of credit for consumers with merchant deals and discounts. Merchant revenue is used by Zilch to reduce or remove the cost of fees for customers shopping at each specific merchant. That has a compounding effect: lower or zero fees remove friction, our algorithm gives greater exposure to merchants offering the best customer value, and merchants see more sales and higher average order values as a result. The more a merchant works with Zilch, the better the customer economics at that merchant, and the more our customers shop there.

Our core model is pure performance, typically CPA: merchants pay commission only when we drive a completed sale. Brands looking to accelerate growth can invest in advertising across the Zilch app and marketing channels to reach our customer base. This includes sponsored placements, featured offers, data-led campaign activity and other commerce media formats designed to put a brand in front of the right customer audience. In addition, for merchants working with Zilch, Zilch earns interchange revenue through the payment credential: each transaction we subsidise with merchant income is cleared and settled via the Visa rails in accordance with applicable Visa commercial interchange rules and rates.

Importantly, there are no set-up fees, no integration costs and no monthly charges.

Settlement works exactly as it does for any other Visa card transaction. Once a purchase is authorised, it is cleared and settled through the Visa network via your existing acquiring arrangements and you receive the transaction value on your standard settlement timelines. There is no separate Zilch settlement process, no change to your payment flows, and no deduction by Zilch from the settled amount. Standard card acceptance costs apply through your acquirer in the usual way. In short: you get paid in full, on time, through the rails you already use.

None. Once a transaction is authorised, you receive the transaction value in line with your standard settlement timelines. Zilch manages the entire customer payment experience, including any repayment obligations, so you carry no credit exposure to the customer beyond the authorised transaction. Whether a customer pays in full or spreads the cost, that's between the customer and Zilch. You make the sale, you get paid, and Zilch handles the rest.

Because Zilch runs on the Visa network and requires no technical integration, going live is fast. Brands can join through their existing affiliate network or work with us directly. Either way, there's no development work required on your side.
