Rob is the VP of Engineering at Zilch, responsible for delivering technical solutions, promoting innovation across the product, and ensuring the resilience and scalability of the platform.

Rob began his career in technology consultancy at Deloitte Digital and Accenture. During this time, he held a range of leadership roles spanning the full software development lifecycle for clients including Sainsbury’s, Argos, Specsavers, Vodafone, John Lewis, Intel, and Diageo.

Rob’s notable accomplishments include leading the design and rollout of a bespoke cloud-based click-and-collect system across more than 2,000 Argos locations, as well as orchestrating the full agile transformation of Specsavers’s engineering department.

With a passion for consumer finance and a proven ability to scale complex technology systems, Rob plays a key role in guiding and motivating Zilch’s engineering teams to deliver high-quality, resilient products that support the company’s mission to eliminate the cost of consumer credit, for good.

Rob holds an Engineering degree from the University of Cambridge.
