Rayko

Steve is responsible for leading the company’s global engineering strategy and execution. With over two decades of international experience, he has built and scaled high-performing, cross-functional teams across the UK, USA, Israel, Poland, and India.

Before joining Zilch, Steve was Head of Engineering at Deliveroo, where he led the New Verticals division (grocery, retail, and more). He was accountable for 20% of the company’s Gross Transaction Value (GTV) and drove 80% of its growth. He launched the retail proposition, built the Fraud and Abuse organisation, and led Customer Care through a transformation of its cost trends.

Earlier in his career, Steve held senior technical programme leadership roles at Google, delivering strategic initiatives across Google Cloud Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and Google Maps. Prior to this, he spent 16 years at Intel in senior R&D and programme management roles, including leading Intel’s Wireless Products Sustaining Programme and establishing a new R&D site in Moscow.

Steve holds an Executive MBA from Tel Aviv University and degrees in Computer Science from the Technion.
