Best TVs 2023: Our top picks for your smart home entertainment

Blog | 23rd Nov 2022 | 4min read

The television is what brings families together: providing the focal point for dinnertimes, catchups and many a movie night. But if your old box still has antennae sticking out of the back, it might be time for a replacement.

But the thing is, brand new TVs can get expensive.

Zilch helps you cover the cost of a new TV when you buy now and pay later. We offer short-term financing so that you can pay just 25% of the price upfront and spread what cost is left over six weeks.

There are no extra fees when you shop with Zilch at one of our supported retailers — but if you can’t find the store you’re looking for on our website or app, simply pay a small fee to use Zilch Anywhere, and buy now, pay later wherever Mastercard payments are accepted.

Our top picks: Buy now, pay later on TVs

LG’s C range has been gracing the podium of every “best of” list from the past few years, and for good reason. With an enhanced processor and brighter display to boot, this flat-screen is the perfect companion for any gamer or seasoned series watcher. As with most smart TVs, however, purchase might set you back a pretty penny. To skip straight to the good bit, purchase with ZIlch and buy now, pay later on the LG C2 OLED.

Samsung Neo QLED

Samsung are giants in the TV game — and not just because their Neo QLED range goes all the way up to 98” in size. The QLED range boasts resolution up to 8K, Infinity Screen edge-to-edge displays and a range of smart features all bundled into an ultra-slim package. To buy now and pay later on this high-end TV, split the cost with Zilch Pay in 4 and pay just 25% of the overall cost upfront.

Philips OLED807

Philips’ flagship OLED TV is the 807, a premium set inspired by the big screen. The smart TV offers sound design by Bowers & Wilkins with an IMAX Enhanced display and Ambilight system for unparalleled immersion. If you’re after the latest and greatest in TV tech, Philips is the choice for you — shop from Currys PC World and pay with Zilch to spread the cost over six weeks.

Hisense U8H

Hisense’s mid-range 4K set flaunts an impressive lineup of features to even rival those in the price bracket above. With picture-perfect HDR, voice control and a slick Google TV interface attached to its 120 Hz panel, the U8H is the ideal family TV to handle casual viewing or a longer boxset binge. To get stuck into all the latest sitcoms, sequels and soaps, pay with Zilch today in any store that accepts Mastercard.

Sony Bravia XR

With multi-dimensional surround sound and focal point depth mapping, Sony’s Bravia collection offers intelligent home cinema. The XRs boast cognitive intelligence to analyse your favourite films and optimise their picture output for the best viewing experience — all you have to do is buy now, pay later with Zilch and split the cost into instalments — or use Zilch Pay in 1 for rewards at big-name retailers like Amazon.

How buy now, pay later works

To get started with your set shopping, you’ll first need to download the Zilch app from the App Store or Google Play. Then, create an account with us and agree to our credit agreement.

Once you’re set up, you can start shopping with Zilch with no interest fees. Search for the online store you’d like or activate your card for the retailer and visit in-person. If we charge an additional fee to shop with your retailer of choice, we’ll always let you know before checkout.

You can then make your purchase with Zilch Pay in 4, and cover just 25% of the purchase price upfront, followed by three more instalments spread over a six week period. Or, choose to Pay in 1 and earn up to 2% back on your purchase value in Zilch Rewards.

And if you need a little extra time to cover the cost, that’s fine with us — just Snooze the payment in our app.

Soon enough, you’ll be set up with your shiny new TV — and now there’s no excuse to miss that life-changing series that all of your friends have been talking about. Anyone up for a trip to Westeros?
